San Blas the Tourist Historic Neighborhood-Don’t miss when in Cuzco.

How to go to the San Blas?
From the Plaza de Armas, the main square of the historical center of Cuzco is the Inca Street, where you can find the 12-angle stone on the Inca Palace wall. You can reach San Blas by foot, from the Plaza de Armas, walking down the street: Calle Triunfo, passing the Inca wall known as Hatun Rumiyoc, with its famous stone of 12 sides, where is man dressed as Inca emperor, this is the stone of 12 angles. Don’t miss when in Cuzco.

The Stone of 12 Angles - Wall of the Inka Palace:
It is one of the most visited by tourists, because in Hatun Rumiyoq Street, was the Inca Roca Palace. The building now belongs to the Archbishop's Palace. In this street, which goes from the Plaza de Armas to the San Blas neighborhood, there you can appreciate the stone of 12 angles, denoting perfectionist Inca architecture. You will see a man dressed as an Inca emperor, where everyone takes pictures with him. The Inca Wall of the palace, where the is carved a Puma and Serpent as well. Attractions such as the stone of 12, you will see in San Blas neighborhood, where you have one of the best restaurants and cafes of Cuzco, like the CAFETERIA 7&7 in Tandapata : 260.
 
On Saturdays have an open fair in the square, beside of the church, that It is the oldest church in Cusco.  Inside it is the famous pulpit 400 years old, made by the famous sculptor and Quechua Juan Tomás Tuyro Tupaq. Inside the church has the mysterious skull in the foot of São Paulo, and is said to be the indigenous master who made the sculpture. San Blas is a bohemian neighborhood that breathes a lot of culture, full of bars, pubs with live music, poetry, cinema and culture in general .For those who are interested in art or holistic activities such as yoga, meditation will find in this small neighborhood varied options related to all that is cultural.
